The American Board of Managed Care Nursing

The American Board of Managed Care Nursing (ABMCN) administers a certification program for managed care professionals. Our certification covers the broad spectrum of managed care from Case and Care Management to Accreditation, from Quality Improvement to Transitions of Care, from Utilization Management to Disease Management and more. The Certified Managed Care Nurses (CMCNs) and Professionals (CMCPs) who hold our certification also cover a spectrum of medical licensure–while most of our members are LPNs, LVNs, RNs, and ARPNs; we also have LCSWs, LPCs, MDs, and PAs.
